The Chakra System of the Purest Form: "Energy Centers"

Understanding Energy Centers
This article is unlike any you may have read before about chakras.
History
Some mystics of the most ancient religions and philosophies have defined God as Light; as an energy, and as the flow of that energy as Light, through our bodies. This light energy is God, a "living substance". It has been called chi and prana; it animates our entire being, without it we would not be alive, able to breathe, move or heal our wounds.
The ancient Chinese sage, Lao Tzu, described it as "...something mysteriously formed, born before heaven and earth...ever present and in motion...flowing through us." 1 This Universal Spirit, he called it Tao, is the life coursing through our veins, minds and hearts. This Tao is the natural order of the universe, and of our lives...we can work with it for peace and joy, or against it creating inharmony and unhappiness. The choice is ours.
The ancient wisdom of the spiritual traditions; the seven chakras of Hinduism and Buddhism, Christianity's seven sacraments, the seven heavens of Judaism, and the seven tiers of Kabbalah's Tree of Life, are all ways of describing how we can become more spiritually aware and accelerate this flow of energy to bring healing, and greater vitality to our lives. The seven aspects of each tradition, connects to the seven chakras/energy centers.
We are intended to master this flow of energy and meet our full potential, to be instruments of God in the earth, helping to re-create and perpetuate the natural order of life as it was originally created. These energy centers are coordinates of the Spirit of God, that allows the flow of energy right within our own bodies. As above, so below. We are affected by, and affect all of life around us.
Functions of Energy Centers
This God Energy is our most important natural resource. There is an exact science in Oriental Medicine that describes the meridians through which this Energy flows, and the acupuncture points which can help clear blockages in the meridians. It has been proven enough to be used in America alongside mainstream medicine, and is even accepted and covered by many medical insurance companies. In this science, if the energy does not flow because of blockages, then we can get sick, either spiritually, mentally, emotionally and/or physically.
Energy Centers are receiving and sending "stations" for the Energy flow, that work at subtle levels of awareness, invisible to the physical eye. Yet, they affect our entire life, our vitality, creativity and our well-being. Each center modulates the vibratory rate of the intensely powerful, pure stream of Energy we receive each day from the Creator when we choose to go with the natural order of the universe (God's Divine Plan, the Blueprint of Life, God's Will, whatever you want to call it).
As I have talked about before in my previous hubs, we are beings created with spiritual, mental, emotional and physical awareness, and working with each of these levels is important for creating a healthy, balanced life. The seven major energy centers are situated at the spiritual/etheric level of awareness along the spinal column (see the picture below). The energy centers are the gateway to our spiritual Self, our True Self. We can learn to work with these centers to re-establish our True Nature by healing and integrating our body, mind, soul, emotions and heart, to create the balanced flow of God's Energy through all levels of our being. The power to heal ultimately comes from within ourselves in resonance with the Divine, which is the level at which this system of energy centers reside.
The word "chakra" comes from the oldest spoken and written language of Sanskrit; it means wheel or disc. Each charkra/energy center has its own frequency (vibration) as it spins and has been depicted as a lotus blossom. The more petals of each lotus, the faster vibration in frequency. It has its own color that keys into the seven rainbow rays of light. The light of each center varies in intensity and purity, as well as color, dependent upon it being blocked of its full flow of energy.
The colors of the energy centers in this system are the colors of their purest and unblocked flow...so you will see different colors in different systems of chakras. I interpret that, meaning that it is healthier to focus on where I want to be (where I will be when the healing I need to get done is done) instead of focusing on the state of ill health that other color systems do. Focusing on the best, brings you the best...why would you want anything less?!
Our free will choices, within any given moment, determine the flow of energy through each center. i.e. We can use the energy of our heart center to be kind and loving or selfish and greedy. Likewise, we can express the power of our throat center to communicate caring or to be critical. All choices have consequences.
The energy to think, feel and act "primes the pump", so to speak. What we put out, is what returns to us, directly or indirectly. Centers are interconnected, each affects the others, that in turn, creates our electromagnetic field around us. This field in turn, affects people around us by connecting with their fields. We truly were meant to work as One; but from the stance of our own healthy and secure field of energy.
When was the last time someone said or implied to you, "this is my space, don't encroach upon it" ?
...to be continued.
Having spent 20 years studying and practicing this system of energy centers, the experiences and results are proof enough to me of their worth as the most enlightened and healing interpretation of chakra knowledge to date.

Interesting.
Great hub! Shine on!
When I was in India I learned about Reiki and certain other meditation techniques. My grandpa was very good at healing our family members just by his internal energy/prayers. I certainly feel blessed by having such a close association with him earlier in my life and wish I could learn more before he departed. Have you visited any of the Asian countries?
SJ- My grandpa taught me some basic techniques to raise my kundalini energy from my muladhara chakra to higher chakras. Also for different health issues different chakras need to be focused. It's strange that you mention ghosts since only recently I have heard the exact same word being used to describe my beliefs in a different context. To digress a bit here my beliefs of (Karma/Reincarnation) were earlier called by "fundamental Christians" as being inspired by ghost/demon/Satan beliefs. I think you are a little open minded about eastern concepts hence sharing that here.
I do pray for others and I was blessed by my grandpa. I have had a good life so far (thanks to the blessings of so many elders). I do hope to know learn more and evolve as a better human being as time passes. I am also looking forward to reading more of your writings since their is a lot of light I can see in it.
This was a well-written contribution about Chakras. I look forward to more on this topic. If you already have other articles, link them to these page, since it is an excellent platform for an expanded discussion.
Interesting
